I don't like Google and I don't want them as a search engine in Opera. Each time I open Opera, even though I have deleted Google from the search engines in the preferences in my last session, Google reappears as the default search engine. I deleted other search engines (like the Wikipedia search) and they never reappear - only Google. frankj9999 last edited by admin . Just installed Opera 20. Is there a way to remove the Google search bar from speed dial or change it to another search engine? Changing search engine preference only changes search engine used in address bar search, does not affect the Google search bar below it.
